In the foothills of Appalachia, we are a working family farm and a place for adventure. Our musicians are storytellers, our campfires are where strangers become neighbors, and every event here adds another layer to the community we’re building.
About
Mayet Aldana
Mayet grew up summering at Pumpkin Hollow Farm in the Catskills, third generation in a family tradition now four generations deep. Learning early to value community around land, now she brings the strategy. She helps shape The Briar Patch into a sustainable business alongside William.
William Arnold - Owner
William is the heart and hands of The Briar Patch. He works the land and the cattle every day. He loves the outdoors, and he loves teaching people to love it too. He’s building this place into somewhere people come for trails, for local art, for each other.
The Team
Our Collaborators
Keowee Brewing Co
We partner with this local brewery and kitchen, using their spent grain to feed our cows. Time your visit right, and you might find our beef in one of their burgers.
Dialed Dirt
Hayden Kettwich is our local trail builder — owner and lead builder at Dialed Dirt, with a hand in many of the major park builds across the Southeast. He built our trail system to be diverse and world-class, with something for riders of every level.
Our Motto
Still a farm. Always an adventure.
