About the event

Scott Low is a Southern songwriter with a bluesman's heart, a folk singer’s storytelling, and a river guide’s patience. Winner of the 2025 Atlanta Blues Challenge his most recent albums—Struttin’ Round Town (2025) and The Appalachian Blues (2024)—dig deep into the soul of the rural South, blending gritty guitar work, slow-burn vocals, and road-worn lyricism. From swaggering blues-rock grooves to stripped-down acoustic confessionals, these records trace a life shaped by heartbreak, resilience, and the crooked backroads of Appalachia.
Opening for Scott we will have the Modern Mammals, known for their genre-blending indie sound, playfully weaving together blues, jazz, reggae, and rock into a groovy live experience. Their rhythm-driven songs and unmistakable chemistry have made them a Briar Patch favorite. In April 2026, they released their second full-length album, TOBY, continuing to develop their unique identity of catchy and rhythm based tunes.
